changed front brake pads

Postby SilTezza » Thu Aug 09, 2012 10:53 pm

hi.. Ive changed my front brake pad yesterday and now there's no more clunking sound as the used one was totally worn, now i figured out that is the cause of the sound when im braking.. braking is much better now.. Using an aftermarket one from japan name 'nisshinbo' all around.. A genuine toyota pad are crazy pricey

Usually u do get what you pay for but the last jap pad i ued in my DC5 was the project mu and it was crap on hard braking and just destroyed the disks. U really want a medium road compound.

OEM brake pads are very good. Used them on Mondello without problem.
They are made by Sumitomo, so you can get Sumitomo-branded ones as well.

Well which pads you are now using. Because I am also looking for some good pads for my drive.
I think I should try the same as you changed now. But if you tell me about the pads which you are now using then I will buy the same pads. please I am waiting for your reply.
