Speaking of anti-squeal shims, does everyone else have these or not? I don't have them, just wondering if I'm missing out.

YET AGAIN this site is coming to my rescue!!!! Have a bitch of a metal rattle in front left area for the last week, couldn't figure it out at all . . . . . . . . . think this could very well be it!!!!

ok, i don't have any anti squeel shims or anti squeel springs which i thought were anti rattle springs.
i have no squeel whatsoever with ebc pads, so squeel could be down type of pads you have.
rattle or clunk issues, i'm guessing are to do with the clips that hold the pads in.
mine seem to have gone week and i think the pads aren't as tight as they should be.
i'm getting new clips in the next few days and i'll know then.

found these so i'm taking a chance with them.

don't know if they will do or not but seeing as the genuine ones are around €100 and these are only a fraction of that, i think they are worth a gamble.

i'm still not sure rob. i know the clips are week and also nothing extra came with the ebc pads i got about 6 months ago.
the only way i'm going to be certain is when i hear no rattle.

brakes still making noise after fitting these.
