have decided to keep my altezza ....not getting offered the money i want for it and am not willing to lose so much money on the car....have decided to swap the yamaha beams engine with the 1jz twin turbo....also am gonna get her fully resprayed in a one off colour (probobly midnight purple) but still not 100 per cent sure (any suggestions welcome) anyone that has completed this engine conversion any advice would be greatly appreciated....thanks

hope you have deep pockets lol the 1jz is a lot of work and its very hard to even get your rev and speed clocks working , no doubt its a great setup but probably not suited for road use unless your going to go for a big setup expect a bill for 4k up to even 10k

if ya go for it best of luck let us know how ya get on

as for colors i sprayed my engne bay recently ford thistle purple its an amazing colour

has to be done! money im being offered would make ya sick! have the spoiler off her now and am waiting on a trd lip spoiler....have a set of bronze rota torque drifts found aswell should look well with the purple!

your just copying my ideas im in the prosses of saving up for the midnight purple spray job and ive already have a 1jz sitting im by back waiting to to in and im putting work meisters s2r whick look like the rota tourges with a lip im gona have to do somting totally different now thanks :(

Not saying ye wont but lots of people say there doing this and that to there cars and never do, there is so many different shades of purple now that im sure ye wont have the same and a 1jz engine is hard to get with a manual box wouldnt go.changing my plans as someone else wants to do it, i mean there is a few 1jzs in the country anyway

well ive two drift soarers both 1jz and both have a manual r154 gearbox the colour i really wanted was black with purple flake so not quite the same but still very close im thinking of goin the new mercedes cream colour now as i fell in love the other day so gona go with that now should look mint and gona roll the arches in the next few weeks before the spray job gona spray the wheels next weekend and see how they go think im gona spray them an atricite colour
dose anyone have a set of works in 18's that they wanna swap for my 17 inch weds
