Maxol in Enniscorthy has it. Is it not supposed to be cheaper than unleaded??

no its supposed to be the same price, E85 on the other hand is cheaper

yea have only had a half tankfull in it yet waiting for it to empty, seemed to run a little smoother wit it. surely ok for a turbo yea?

most maxols round Dundalk and northeast have it now also, i find a bit of a diff with it in and sure its the same price as norm fuel so why not use it'
Might help the auld enviroment. 8)

Someone on the Subaru site decied to get some of the E5 tested. See report below

So it turned out to have an Octane rating of 97.4 compared to the stated 99.2 minimum .just something for all you turbo lads running on just E5 now, maybe you should keep using booster just to be on the safe side as the E5 may not be consistently 99.2

Does the Maxol in Enniscorthy sell E85?

or more to the point is there anywhere between waterford and dublin (coast road) that sells the bloody stuff? i always seem to be leaving myself short goin up and down every bloody weekend.

I always have to top up on a half tank either end cos i cant make it up and back on one tankful :(

In relation to the E85 what exactly are the advantages to it, is it the same as the petrol in Japanland or whats the craic? Also what kinda money you talking for the conversion and where do you fill up, I havent really noticed it anywhere but then again I wouldnt really be looking out for it
