Civic Type R EK9 Opinions

Postby Damok » Tue Apr 20, 2010 10:28 am

Right i might get shot for this   I have always liked the EK9 Type R civics. I'm in 2minds at the min. I like my tezz. Saying that i have spent alot of money on it and have looked after it really well since i have had it.
I'm think of trying to swap it for a clean/mint (if there is such thing anymore) type r. OR i was going to keep it and buy a type r in a few months when funds come right then i dont know what i'd do with the altezza would i sell it or keep it. I dint have the space to keep it really as i have a project car already and dont want to sell it and see it going around the place. :(

Am I mad. :? :?

What the EK9 like. PM me and i will have a wee look..

As for MooMoo. I'd love to turbo the tezz but dont have anyroom at home for another car just to be sitting there, I more than likely wouldnt sell the tezz but hold on to it i'd find the room i guss. But i never been in a Civic type R but have been in the rest of the Type R's. :D :D I am a toyota man at heart tho.. Oh i'm all confused

One of my mates has one, its spotless and he's not overly impressed with it speed wise but says its a great handling car

Wouldnt be my cup of tea though

Just watch out for one thats been driven hard, look at the rocker cover paint/powder coat, flaking on the front is a sign of it being driven hard a lot, flaking on the back is grand - so i'm told anyway. My mates has only the tiniest bit of flaking at the back so he had to show the engine bay to me and explain
