the 1.8 turbo ones? my mate had one when he was younger, not the most reliable cars, head gaskets are weak on them. evo ftw!

I had the older gsr model and a 4wd colt with a gsr engine dropped in and have to say they were fine, i had the colt 7 years and it was every day driving. Once they are maintained and given their proper servicing and so on they should be fine, i dont know what the newer models are like if thats the type your after but knowing mitsi's oil seal gaskets i think are normally the thing needs replacing in them, im sure like everything there are always the dodgy ones.
you spin me right round baby,right round,like a record,right round,round round

hey two mates have them there very slow for what they are and drink the juice, i would save up for a evo to be honest, as for reliablity i think there alright, clutchs and head gaskits give a bit of bother with abuse :)

hope this helps

For the CM5A GSRs:
Displacement, 1834cc
Engine model 4G93T (turbo)
Max.power (Net), kw(PS)/rpm 205 ps (150.78 kw) / 6000 rpm
Max.torque(Net), N*m(kg*m)/rpm 28.0 kg*m (274.59 N*m) / 3000 rpm

TBH, they aren't bad, my brother has had one, no mechanical problems, but had the leaky roof syndrome.

It is faster then the Altezza though, having more torque and being lighter, but it is just a Misti :P

Thanks lads and lady, gave up on this idea. Was a nice clean car and all but just didnt do it for me, bit plain looking or something :D and also buying a gsr when ya really want an evo is kinda like going to the bar and buying a red bull without the vodkas :)
