on my private track (M50) only got 0-100km in 8.6... but thats with only 2 tries.. haven't done the quarter mile measure yet :D

8.6 seconds is extremely slow for 0-100 km...either your car is not workin well or your driving...

Most uprated clutch launch like that without any help. My brother is always laughing at me he always says "can you not control the stallion yet" :lol: It reminds him of the way hi ho silver used to rise :lol:

oh i know it's slow.. as was said earlier by someone i was trying launch from about 4000 rpm... not worth a sh&^e apparently :D

heres a few pics of my rsm.. (not acurate times but handy to compare with other people who have them)
the 6.74secs was two months after i bought the car totally standard :D :D
and the 7.10 is with a apexi induction kit and cat back exhaust...proof upgrades lose you power without proper tuning a/f.....

I'll second that, lad i know bet a type r teg at bishopscourt in a 20v corolla, but he's possibly the most competitive person i know, the poor car was never the same......stripped it out for the day and trailered it up with just enough fuel in the tank for 1 run, gerry cans with more fuel :lol:

old discussion but...

I just ran twice 16.11 with my IS300 bone stock with open rear end (one wheel spinning through 1-st gear every time) and low octane fuel.
Also there was everything in trunk + sub + about 30+kg sound deadening mat.

I was hoping around 15.5 but that´s reality...
Must install my Supra LSD and get Apexi safc asap...

What about launching in an auto, I know if I hold the brake while revving to 5k will start peeling off, any tip's there :wink:
