standard oil pressure gauge

can anyone tell me wat mark there needle is at 3000 revs in 6th gear, mine is just 2 bars below the the high mark but levels out to mid when drivin hard, is this the same in anyone else car cause they all seem to read different in each car. car running perfect an its always bein the same, was just wonderin cause seems a bit high?

ye it goes up and down constantly i wouldnt worry about it, id be more concerned if it stopped moving and stayed in the one position!

I found it is more active since i started putting in fully synthetic (5w30) than it ever was on whatever Mr.Toyota used on it's first service.... :?

generally it should be low when the engine is idling and high when your ragging it...

Is yours a turbo? was there an aftermarket gauge stuck in somewhere?

no its not turbo, had that problem wit my old altezza the senser clogged an it stopped reading frieghtim the s@3! out off me :lol:

Needle usually stays around 3 below the top mark... lower when i start the car but when its warmed up it stays around there no matter what i'm doin!

Same as Noel. Moves around alot more since started using synthetic oil. Aroung 3 below max mark when driving
