mintex pads

anyone now wat mintex brake pads are like?, seem to be the only make i can find around wicklow for the tezza :(

Mintex are a very good brand, you just have to be careful of what ones you get... Track use ones are brutal for road as they need to heat up before you've a decent pedal at all. What you'd probably want is fast road use ones ;)

I've got mintex fitted all round on my tezza

never had a problem with them

got a complete set of ebay for about £55

the lad wants a 100 euro for pads all around aint bad really. get them in the mornin so cheers lads :lol:

Where's that from?

Ya could try Dublin Brake Distributors (think they're in Walkinstown or Ballymount) they're the main distributors for Mintex in Ireland afaik

I have Mintex all round, got the off Prolex for just over a 100 Euro delivered. great pads, very little brake dust under normal driving conditions. Where are you getting them over here dots?

auto care in wicklow an theres a little motor factors in waterford that stocks them too 65 for the front an 35 for the rear, cant find new belts any were got the timing belt but havin trouble getin the alternater belt an powersteering an air con belt i thick it is, they startin to crack on me, havint tryed toyota yet was gonna ring them on the weekend

My mechanic got got the two belts from a factors. He just measured them and got them from the size. There 4 groove Vbelts. The power steering/aircon one is 1125mm long but cant remember the other one. Good value for the mintex pads.

u can get them from any Toyota dealer, genuine parts too
