oil pan replacement gasket or sealer?

Postby paulotc » Mon Mar 23, 2015 10:42 am

Not sure if I'm posting in the right section but here goes.
I have a dented oil pan/sump and want to replace it. What sealer is the best to use or what would everyone recommend? Also this maybe a stupid question but is there a paper gasket available from toyota for this or will it be available through a motor factors?

just scrape most of what you can off both faces and run some of this. I did a bit of a rubbish job cleaning it but it hasnt leaked even a tiny drop

Just go into motor factors and ask for gasket maker for a sump
