Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

Postby chargespeed » Fri Sep 27, 2013 10:15 pm

Hey all
Brother has 99 Altezza
He just noticed he has no hot air
Starts off hot then cools down
I told him try taking out pollen filter
Still the same
It's not loosing water
Would I be right in saying thermostat sticking

Anyone else experience this

I could almost promise ya its heater matrix that need to be flushed

Check the two pipes behind engine to see if there both hot they both should be hot if not undo them and flush with a hose with some thing to join to pipe like a lent of copper pipe

Search heater matrix I explained to an other member awhile back

what's the cars actual engine temp? does it fluctuate at all? had a broken one on last car and when driving slowly the heater would be hot and engine temp would get hot aswell as fans running almost constantly but driving at speed would be cold and the engine would cool down
