A bit of advice.

Postby WebbeR » Sun Mar 10, 2013 11:11 pm

First of all hello all. I need a bit of advice on a RS200 Toyota Altezza. or the guy called it a Toms turbo Altezza. Basically i need to know what they are worth so i know i am not getting the worst of the deal. I will add a brief spec.

Toyota Altezza RS200 in white
2 owners 57000 miles
Running around 300 bhp
Vvti with 6 speed manual
all optional extras
Trd clocks
Oil, water, temp, volt gauges
Jdm boost gauge
Legena front and rear bumper
Jdm grill
Carbon mirrors
Wind deflectors
Enkei 3 piece wheels
Trd shocks + springs
Trd antiroll bar/bushes
Trd chassis strengthener
T28 Hks roller bearing turbo
Hks down pipe and manifold
Hks actuator
Hks metal boost pipes and silicone hoses
Arc fmic
Enterprise induction kit
Walbro fuel pump
530cc injectors

As i said i just need an idea of the value of it. The guy seems very honest but i have to be sure, he may even be a member on here  . Thanks for any info given.

I don't know about the value, probably 6-7k if its clean.
Sounds like a very good spec, doesn't sound like a toms 280t one but if its a proper hks turbo kit it's probably better than a toms 280t.

Yeah, 6 to 7 if in good nick, if it's a Tom's then there's, like robinh said, a plate in the engine bay stating which one it is...

Thanks for the help guys. He come round last night so i could have a look, its not a toms. Apart from what i listed it also has a Apexi FC ecu with commander. Its a great car and in very good nick. I think i will be the proud owner of a Altezza RS200 by the week end. As i said as long as i get a fair deal for my Supra TT i am happy.
