We moved into a new house about 6 weeks ago and when the weathers been nice I've just been popping down the local car boot to have a look for some cheap bits and bobs, plus I like looking through all the old tools
anyway I picked these ramps up for £20 which have built in scissor jack happy day
gave them a bit of a service and with a bit of modification there do the job
with a 9.5inch rim
borrowed some 6mm stainless checker plate from work folded it up on the press so I have a nice 1 meter long ramp on each 1 that hooks into place over the original ramps so it can't move anywhere
and also cut a part for the top plate to work out where to bend it.
top plate on and test fitted to work out how to fix it in place
offered it all up to see what the bumper clearance was like
top plate fixed in place and a trial run
after a trial run a few more bits required on the tops for safety so making a high front plate so you can't drive of the end and a removeable plate to go behind the wheel so it can't roll back.
