solid flywheel upgrade

hi all just upgraded the flywheel to a lightend solid 1 its making a strange noise at the startup i was just wondering was that normal its like when you turn off a skill saw and the guard pops up like a blade rubbing ? :idea:

yes thats the noise i have too its normal.i like to describe it as two samurai swords swiping against each other :lol: :lol:

yer thats normal, its just where its billet and a bell shape.

hi mate, did you retain the input shaft bearing (spigot bearing) when you installed the solid flywheel?

Yes, you need a spigot bearing, gearbox won't last long if you don't put one back in. It's only a few £ for one if Toyota not got one in stock then a bearing place will if you take the old one in.
