New owner from Cornwall

Postby mikeb » Tue Sep 27, 2011 1:16 pm

Hi,

Just picked up an Altezza last weekend (sourced from pistonheads). It's a white, 6 speed, and pretty much standard. Drove it 250 miles back to Cornwall and all seems good so far, can't believe how good condition it is for a 12 year old car. Will try and get some pictures up soon, but it's now peppered in flies, so looks messy already! I had a 91 celica before (3s-ge engine, without vvti), but pending arrival of 2nd child, been told I needed something with 4 doors...

Prepare yourselves for lots of questions.

I'm in Lostwithiel, between Bodmin and Fowey. Been here four years, and still waiting for a decent summer.

My dad used to have a Triumph 2000 PI - the first british 'family' car with a fuel injected engine. Them were the days!

Can't say I went there. Did the Atlantic coast from Tintagel right down to Lands End then over to the Lizard. Weather was a bit of a mixed bag. Fog in summer is not something I'm used to. The English summer is the butt of many a joke in these parts :P
