Hi

Hi All

Thought I'd sign up as I bought a 2000reg Altezza RS200 in March - needs a bit of work, (dreaded Error 3 on CD player for starters) but definitely enjoying it.

Got some issues I will post up soon regarding advice on alternative suspension, removing speed restriction and other bits and bobs.

been looking at this site for a while and thought I should take the plunge as info given seems really useful.

Cheers

Rob

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Hi,
I sure people will help with any problems you got ! as for error 3 thats very common even on UK /euro spec IS200/300, only solution change stereo to aftermarket one ! otherwise a new OEM costs lots for sure !

Cheers for the Warm Welcome, I'm based near Stratford Upon Avon in Warwickshire. Thinking of either upgrading the Head Unit to an Alpine CDE-9882ri CD/MP3 Head Unit - so I can run an I pod through it as well. Does anyone know of an Altezza / IS200 Breaker near me as I wouldn't mind trying to pick up a couple of little bits for cheap, like an original gear knob and if possible the remote from the central console (Not really going to use it, just want one to cover the gap!!) I'll try and post some pics up soon so you can have a ganders, might take me a while as I'm pretty busy for the next couple of weekends. Also any advice on more comfortable suspension options would be useful as coil overs are far to stiff for my commute to work on country roads!!
