Postby altezza_nz » Thu Aug 09, 2007 6:49 am

Hello all,

Spotted this forum so thought I'd join up. I'm Mike from New Zealand. I have a silver 1999 Rs200Z 6MT.

Current mods are K-Sport Adjustable Suspension, 18DTM Blitz mags, K-Sport seats and some gauges. I have plenty more planned for my car in the upcoming months

Here is some pics

Welcome to the site mate!

How do you find the coilovers do u mind me asking? Been looking at a set of those myself but they're only starting to come into Ireland now so only car I've driven with them was a starlet turbo...

Car looks well mate, even better with a set of TezzaWorld stickers ;)

Thanks for the welcome guys. :D

Hey Noel, I've seen a few of these names before

The K-Sport coilovers I find them very good. Good range of height adjustment, and the car handles awesomely. I got advised to purchase them over Tein, and am very pleased with them.

Tell me, was it a package deal with the coilovers and seats? Because it's not something you hear about, but now that I have bucket seats in mine, it's such a logical upgrade to have better seats to go with your better handling. I'd even go so far as to say that the feeling you get from good buckets is almost like the feeling you get with a suspension upgrade - because you get more feedback from the chassis, the car actually feels like it handles better. V.confidence inspiring.

Hey TB2,

No the seats and coilovers weren't a package deal. After getting the coilovers i still had factory seats, and noticed when I was going round corners at bit of speed I would slide in my seat. So I went to see my garage and they had just got the K-Sport seats in and gave me a good deal on them :D The seats hold you in place extremely well, and are very comfortable for driving round town and when going on longer trips. And with what I've got planned for my car new seats were going to be needed eventually lol
