ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

Newbie From Wellington, New Zealand

Postby dave89 » Mon Mar 17, 2014 9:18 am

Hi guys,
I'm new to this site, thought this forum would be a great way to gain some knowledge on these vehicles. I have a background of toyotas, used to muck around with 4ages and now im into 4wds, landcruisers, hiluxes etc. I work on trucks buses and vans for a job.
So my girlfriends brought a 1999 beams 3sge altezza automatic, it has problems already. Ive cleaned the MAF that made it run sweet, although engine check light is still on once the vehicle gets to operating temperature it runs rough when this comes on, idles low and sometimes just dies.
Ive posted up some details under "problems with your altezza" section, basically wanting to know if anyone can forward me through the fault codes for when you bridge out terminals on the obd2 plug. Ive come back with some numbers but i don't know what they mean
Any help would be much appreciated

Welcome along buddy, from doing a bitta research for my own car these cars don't seem to give much info with the crossed obd method, unlike a lot of other jap cars. Could you get a suitable code reader for it?
