New From Ireland, Not your usual Irish spec altezza

Postby J-Diddy » Thu Feb 27, 2014 10:49 pm

Hi all James here from Ireland, have an Altezza race car that was built in Japan laps mondello 2mins 2seconds consistently on slicks with traffc from a track day.

The car has a full bolt in cage, its fully seam welded some little jap went mad with a mig welder on it, has coilovers unknown make but are savage quality, Volk TE37,s, Orc clutch and fly wheel, TRD diff and final drive, unknown exhaust and decat. It pulls really well and out handles and out brakes most cars that have more money spent on them.

The plans is to put ITB,s on it, a standalone engine management, a 4 branch and some cams, if anybody has any experience doing this on which are the best components to use, I would be gratefull on the info.

Here is a quick vid to give you all an idea what its like

Thanks lads the lightweight flywheel and shorter final drive make the world a difference

I was watching carefully speedo gauge on that video and my car hits red line at same speed. Does it mean I have it changed as well or that tezz doesn't have any change to the final gear setup :?:
