DIY: Installing JDM Dash Tray (with Pics)

Tools Needed:
Screwdriver


This is your dash BEFORE the JDM dash tray:

[COLOR="Blue"]Step 1: Remove the felt piece upper dash section[/COLOR]
its not difficult at all, just pull it off with a little force

[COLOR="blue"]Step 2: take off felt piece and install JDM tray[/COLOR]
take the two screws out, pop out the felt piece and screw the JDM tray back on (I took my felt piece off first because my stereo guy didnt put the screw back in after messin around back there. That is another story and I will be going to see him on Monday :pissed: ):

[COLOR="blue"]Step 3: put upper dach piece back[/COLOR]
just push the upper dash piece back in and it will snap in place, then step back and enjoy the view!

:lol: I am a picture whore, if I do somethin to the car, you can be sure there will be pics of it, and if I have the drive Im gonna write a DIY article. did the Altezzas come with that style tray from the factory?

Not that i know of, i've only ever seen the sat nav units or the tray that you removed (thats what i have)

I think they either come with the sat-nav or the bit he took out. I think the other tray is aftermarket.

I know some of the '03+ IS300s came with a similar tray, it just sits flush instead of sticking up like mine does
