I gave mine a light sanding anyway and a clean with some panel wipe but i dont think theres a need for it if you use primer.

@ evelyn: yeah mine just had to clips it just popped out with a stanley blade and flat head.

@ anto: I thought your were messing, If you want me to i will, damoks too if you want, I dont know how much to ask sure make an offer??

Just spotted this, will normal grey primer do? (as in primer you'd use to do a car? ie; id imagine painters use the same primer to prime plastic bumpers aswell as metal body panels?)


Thinking of doing it to my own.. how long do you leave to dry between coats, primer + 1st coat + 2nd coat then assemling back.

I just bought plastic primer when i done mine ........... and between coats i just used the oven to speed things up a bit.
