Alloy wheel refurbishing

Postby Tezzy » Thu Apr 17, 2008 1:12 pm

Can anybody recommend someone to refurbish a set of alloys for me, in the south east?

2 are fairly heaving kerbed on the outer lips and two aren't that bad at all. could anybody give me a ballpark idea of how much it would cost?

about 70 euro per wheel, but you will lose the polished lip finish, as i dont think there is anyone good enough in Ireland to get them back to a factory finish. Ask Rob he got his done in a place in Bray

I dont have the standard wheels i've got polished 19s. do you lose the polished look on all wheels as part of the refurb process?

They'll have to be fixed up and replated i'd say. can't seeing it being a cheap fix
