Rims from another vehicle ??

Postby DBX » Sat Mar 16, 2013 7:09 pm

OK many people do this for long long time like OEM wheels from Mazda or a Nissan onto a Lexus/Toyota, would they be direct fitment ? like OEM RX8 wheels onto a Lexus IS200/300 Altezza ? i seen an IS200 with this but just wondered if its just direct fit ? reason i ask is that if i or anyone buy say Rota wheels or BBs etc.... usually there are spigot rings and there different depending what car it is, i only ever bought non OEM wheels such as Rota or TSW's for my previous cars and i been thinking idea of OEM 18" RX8 wheels for my car, seen some ebay good ones for reasonable price, its just idea i may or may not do as i bought some new tyres for my wheels recently...

as long as there 5 stud by 114.3 pcd, have a centre bore of 60.1 or larger (then will need spigot's) are within an offset of 50-35 if you don't want to do arch work then they will fit, most mitsubishi, nissan, lexus, some toyota's, mazda
heres a good guide http://www.wheel-fitment.com/PCD/5x114.3/

I've seen a few people with rx-8 rims on their lex with no fitment issues so should be fine

Seen r33 gtr wheels that look good but some rota wheels are the same price!

So... 17x9.5 et30 not fit without arch work?

There the wheels I'm about to buy, standard shocks but soon to fit tien lowering springs or coil overs.

Thanks in advance.

the rear arches will have to be rolled flat for them to fit and the fronts might touch the inner arch liner and lip of the arch when on lock.
a lot depends on what size tyres you fit and how much lower you go.

8.5 max to run on front not sure offset this is what I've been told, think you will need you front fenders pulled to fit them
