What size are the standard altezza wheels...

Just going ordering my wheels now but before I do most of ye know I had with my 18"x 7.5 I am going to go down a size to 17" but dont know if I will go for 17" x 7.5 or 17" x 7?

The standered wheels are 17x7 which take a 215/45/17 tyre ans a 17x7.5 take a 225/45/17 tyre its personal choice really id go for 7.5 :)

I'd go 17x7.5.. you'd still be able to use 215 tyre no bother :wink:

i'd go for the wider wheel personally.
more surface area of the tyre on the road=more grip

seeing as though newer Tezza's seem to be coming in with 225 as standard, i'd agree with Bobby...

but normally when fitting wider tyres your spreading the weight of the car over a larger area so in the wet you'd actually have less grip ( less lb per square inch ) which is never a good idea....

speaking from experience, i was a passenger in a car that crashed purely down to having over-sized wheels :cry:

PCD is 5x114.3, and I believe offset is +35

Offset of standard Altezza wheel is +50mm.
PCD is 114.5 x 5.

not being disagreeable but never seen an f1 car getting smaler wheels been put on it when it starts raining just wet tyres. i could be wrong do.

not ramming my opinion through either ....but see the skinny wheels they run on rally cars when doing wet forest runs :wink:

regards the F1's ... well if you have more grooves you have less surface area...
