Removing headlight.

Postby sxe10mike » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:56 pm

Is there any possible way to remove the headlights without removing or moving the bumper on the car. My spot light is not working so I need to get down to the plastic (clip) connector behind the left headlight. If there is a way to remove the headlight without taking the bumper off. Please enlighten me. :D

yes all you have to do is remove the front wheel that it is behind. then undo the plastic lining of the whhel arch just enough to give you access then you will see the nut that holds the wheel in place. remove that and then the other one is under the bonnet. very straight forward. no need to go near the bumper.

I ended up taking the bumper off anyway. I re-positioned the spot lights and clipped some of the loose mesh back in. The bumper is sitting a little low on one side now but its not extremely bad. :) Thanks anyway lads.
