half leather seats

Postby mike_01 » Tue Dec 13, 2011 8:09 pm

Just put a new headlining in my car and now I'm really thinking about replacing the seats and door cards to the is200 ones in black, how much are they fetching now?
Also just wondering about the electric side of thing could I actually swop the front seat swobs with my manual one to remove the fact of sorting the electric's out, does anyone know if this can be done and how would they come appart?
Cheers

also wondering about the air bag's as notice there are a few seats, one's with just drivers electric, both electric and some heated and with airbags, just wondering what people do with the airbags just leave them in and not wire them up is it, also would the altezza have the plugs behing the dash for the electric heated seats or would that need to be wired up completly?

cheers

remove your seat and check if plugs for electric seats and heater are there. There was 2 or 3 plugs connecter to my electric seats. Yellow for airbag, white for electric motors and there might be third, i cant recall, for heaters.

Hello guys! I'm just about to buy half leather seats for my tezza, of course they will be taken out from IS200 so they will be electric, now my question is about changing the position back and forth, up and down, does them functions works after wiring up? Is there a way of wiring them? making them working like? I'm not that worried about heated seats.. Thanks for answer!

Yeh just run a couple of wires from the battery to the seats is all it needs, obviously will need it going to drivers and passengers if you have a passenger electric seat, easy enought I'm wanting to put the heated seats aswell this is what I need to find out
