Speedo Bulbs / Speedo Needle

Postby Duffer » Wed Apr 21, 2010 4:45 pm

Hi Guys,

The right side of my Speedo is very dull so once i go past 120Klm it gets a bit dark. Does anyone know what bulbs i need and where to get them?

Also the needle on my speedo is at 20klm at rest so does anyone know what i should do to get this back to 0klm?

Any help will be appreciated thanks guys!!! 8)

Theres 2 different size bulbs in the clocks , the one your prob looking for is 501 (theres only 3 in that size in the back of the speedo). I changed mine with the same problem . One bit of advice is then u take out the old one try to save the orange sleeve the bulb is in and put over the new bulb . Toyota might do them with the orange rubber sleeve . Not sure .
As for the needle i would just try to move it with my finger first when u take the speedo out and see if it drops below the 20km mark.
Tip ; use a twizzers to open and pull out the bulb holder.
