The head lining you mean on the inside of the roof?

I never have anyway & can't think of anyone on here who would have :(

Do you not just remove the A, B & C pillars & then it's held by clips no???

I've looked into it before to see how difficult it would be to fit a roof-mounted LCD, but I don't think it was as straightforward as that.
Get your hands on the workshop manuals, it's all in there. Search and ye shall find..

no i think you just remove all the plastic trim touching the roof, remove the front map lights and the centre roof light, then it should be held on with pop on clips with a bit of persuasion should come out, i think there is some sticky rubber that holds it in place too.

Well some pics of roof lining removed:

I removed my old headlining when i purchased new interior.

It is pretty easy. Start by taking off sunvisors, centre roof lights and map lights. Sunvisors are held in by 2 bolts i believe, take the cover off the centre roof light to reveal the 2 bolts and the map light pops out.

Then remove all the hand grips from above the door. Each one is held on by 2 bolts. I think you will probably have to remove the A,B and C pillars also, which all pull off (B pillar you have to remove seatbelt mount first)

The headliner should pretty much fall down now. Try not to crease it when getting it out of the car though
