Not possible so I've been told. My car came with an aftermarket panasonic sat nav/dvd unit and that appears to be useless aswell. Think Dan's car came with the factory nav unit so he should know better

You cant actually get the current system converted to work in Ireland, The only thing i know that you can do is get it done by Lexus, 4100 Euro! or try and get your hands on a Lexus is200 sat nav box and stick that in. Even still i think the connections are different so it wont work.

I don't think it's that simple to use the original screen, most people with the Sat-Nav housing swap out the original screen and put in an aftermarket 7" lcd then you have no problems connecting as they have the right inputs already.....

I bought the housing second hand and done exactly that.... i think only one or two people over on LOC actually got the original screen to work with their car PC's jobbies... scarface was one i think, maybe ask him whats involved....

Ok, so here is a good question for ye. Can you get a sat nav (stock or aftermarket) that will sit into the flat platform at the top of the central console? While keeping the stock headunit??? A flip up screen thing. None of these stick on to the windscreen things please.

hmmm cant say ive heard of one but you may be able to get one of the stick on window ones that have a large screen and place that in the origional screens place or better yet one that would allow you to use a tv out cable

What if you actually take out the screen and replace it wit the other sav nav unit, wud that work??? literally just rip out the screen and put a sat nav unit in its place...

y ethat it would look very tidy though unless the sat nav had a 7 inch screen and was the same shape, most aftermarket gps are smaller than that
