electronic devices in the boot.

Postby AgtX » Sun Sep 30, 2012 3:54 pm

Had a look in my boot area today to see what sort of spare wheel i have & saw a load of electronic gubbins there too, navigation system and other stuff, i take it that the screen in the dash is simply a screen & not an actual device.

Is it all useless or can it be altered with aftermarket kit to make use of the stuff up front?

the screen is that, unit in boot useless unless you live in japan, you could however get one from a uk spec is200 and swap but would also have to renew the map pack as more than most will be 5+ years out of date, better option is to remove all satnav unit and put a tomtom etc.. into the car's stanav screen unit, is few post's around on doing it aswell
