Re: My First Build

Finally got round to doing some ecu wiring. The main power wire was frayed pretty badly http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b622/toshamov/IMAG0716_zpsutzd14ow.jpg Cut, crimp and heatshrink any damaged wire http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b622/toshamov/IMAG0717_zps7krtqedc.jpg Think this is why t...

pas pump bracket info

Does anyone happen to have a pas pump bracket off snd could measure some bits for me? Saves me taking it off and re bleeding it all again. I need to know the hole centers for the bracket which bolts to the block and the thread on the banjo fitting in the side of the pump (the feed pipe)

thanks

Re: Altezza increased steering lock brain storming

I've made suspension arms for race cars before and it's amazing how thin a tube you can get away with but a ton of engineering goes into it and all the arms work together. They get binned after a few races too. Personally I would never trust a cut and shut, especially if it hasn't been post weld tre...

Re: Altezza turbo project (Ireland)

Must have been the new injectors then. Maybe wrong impedance or something?

Fingers crossed it's not a bent rod

Re: Altezza turbo project (Ireland)

ouch unlucky mate! If the rod was bent you would it hear knocking big time. Not sure why it hydrolocked (apart from the power fc being a twat again, did the fans come on at all or was it just injectors opened and stayed open? Were they brand new and what are they? Could be faulty maybe leaking or so...

coilovers

I've got some ancient teins on my tezza, think they are hr. The rebound is VERY slow and one has burst and leaking, doesn't rebound at all anymore. Looking to get a whole new set (can't afford the down time to get it repaired and to be honest they are really soft so want rid anyway. I've been lookin...

Re: anyone running a watter cooled turbo?

I wasn't sure which hose was return and which was feed so just chose one. I'll try swap em round and see if it helps. Have been thinking about an oil cooler, will have to fit one now!

Thanks

anyone running a watter cooled turbo?

Im running a water cooled turbo and wastegate. at the moment only the wastegate is getting water as the turbo is blocked off so I can drive it. The water returns to top heater hose. However I've noticed everything gets VERY hot. All the water hoses are too hot to touch and the heater matrix is so ho...

Re: is200 and altezza visual difference

I thought as much, so many people tell me "altezzas aren't that rare I've seen a few on the road" but every single one I see has lexus all over it, even has lexus on the glass on some of them.

I thought about running toyota badges a while back, just looks weird though lol

is200 and altezza visual difference

Was just wondering, is there actually any way to tell between a tezza an is without looking inside? I've seen quite a few cars with altezza grilles and badges but you look inside and can tell straight away it's an is200.

Are they completely identical on the outside?
