Re: Spark plugs and sterio

Why would you want to run standard plugs over iridium :?: So you want to decrease the power, throttle response & fuel economy  Most people want to improve those. Put some Denso VK20 in there & forget about them for the next 90-100K km end of story. NGK BKR6EIX11 are good but only last ...

Re: Inside Heater motor not as powerful?

Does yours have a pollen/cabin air filter fitted? If it does it could be blocked reducing the air flow

Re: a few questions after HKS RS intake kit fitted

Is your car slower at low revs since fitting the pod filter?

Re: Recommend oil for Beams RS200

That all depends on which one you got Tezza-Shea. There's more than one Magnatec 5W-30. What spec is it? A1/A5, A3/B4, C2 or C3. A3/B4 & C3 are the only ones really suitable for the 3SGE. A3/B4 would be the best option out of those two. A1/A5 & C2 are designed for fuel economy & too thin...

Re: TRC flash light

When you say the TRC light is flashing & loosing power this sounds like Traction Control is kicking in :?: Do you have a button under the radio where you can turn it off?

Re: Disabling the vvti!

I'd be looking for another ECU that can control VVTi. Check out the new Link plug'n play for the SXE10

Re: Tezzaworld's May Feature

The transformation is complete, Motul Ester based fluids in gearbox, diff & now engine Engine is even smoother & quieter compared to Mobil1 5W-30 I had been running. Oil pressure has increased as well. If you're seeing track time then I'd say this is a must have. Running a WIX XP synthetic m...

Re: Rotors

Pull a front wheel off & check the diameter of your rotors before you order anything.

Re: T-Belt

Yep that's an OE belt. Brand new ones have the same markings on them. I'd be changing it for peace of mind no matter the mileage if it's older than 10 years. Hard to believe the first Altezza came out 15 years ago now!

Re: Rotors

Not 100%. If you've got a base model RS200 auto some came with single pot calipers & smaller disc, 275mm rather than the usual 296mm & twin pots on the front. Check your rotors OD before ordering anything.

Re: Recommend oil for Beams RS200

If you can get your hands on Mobil1 10W-30 High Mileage then I'd use that. Normal M1 10W30 is a bit thin for your climate, the 5W30 is slightly better suited but you really want something with minimum HT/HS of 3.5 in a warm climate. Redline 10W30 is another worth looking at if you can find it in BD
