Re: problem after installing cold air intake

Got pics of what you've done? If you've put a pod filter on then you're asking for trouble. Quick search on here will tell you they're more problem than they're worth.

Not such a great start for Neuville. Shame Sordo got a flat battery as he was doing well in Monte

Re: anyone know alot about diesel's

Remapped diesel sounds like trouble to me. When people do that here in NZ they normally expire prematurely, doesn't help we have low quality diesel either.

Have a look around some Audi forums & see if people have run into problems before

Re: Differential Oil

Wondering what Diff Oil to use and what Capacity the Diff holds? 1L - 75W140 for best results in the LSD Also any particular engine oil to stay away from with the 3sge? Anything thicker than 10W-30, stay away from (unless it's turbo). Castrol Edge 5W30 A3/B4 is probably the easiest oil to find &...

Re: altezza diff question

If you have the factory torsen LSD put some 75W140 or 80W140 in it. It'll help it hook up better. I run Motul 75W140 in mine currently, it's very good. I've also tried Castrol 75W140 & it was fine but Motul's ester base stock mean it wont shear back(thin viscosity) when it gets hot

Re: high emmission problems

I assume you have an auto with 2 cats & 2 O2 sensors? Is your aftermarket set up an exact copy of the factory front pipe? I'd get the work double checked. The O2 sensors may not be wired up properly although that should bring up the engine check light. I assume you've cleaned the MAF & throt...

Re: low reves, when temp is at half

Dirty throttle body causes low idle not the MAF. Clean it & idle should go back to normal. This has been covered many many times on the forum. Noobs need to use the search button a bit more often

Wow they must have been sitting on a shelf collecting dust for quiet some time. Hope you got the cheap then. Personally I would have tracked down the latest part number but I guess thats easier said than done in some places

There's very little play aloud in them so visual inspection wont tell you much. If in doubt change them. Genuine ones are reasonably priced from Nick the site trader.

Re: Hyundai WRC 2014

Will be interesting to see how they go. Hyundai didn't do very well the first time they tried their hand at WRC. They've got a good driver in Thierry Neuville but that doesn't mean much unless the car is competitive & reliable. When are Toyota going to join up again? There's plenty of rumors on ...
