Re: Would 9.5" Rota Grids fit an Altezza ?

I run 17" ET38 9J with 235/40 tyres on the rear and there is slight poke from the fender, and arch clipping so you'd almost definitely need to roll arches.

I'd personally just get less-wide wheels.

Re: Seeking Power Steering Hose

Email Nick in the traders forum, he works for a Toyota dealership in New Zealand and has so far beaten every UK price I've got for parts (that's including the shipping and import fees!). Great guy to deal with!

Re: Low idle when warm - MAF and TB cleaned - TPS broken?

That was a photo I stole from somewhere. My guess is it's a low Japanese car in japan, or a low mileage car not long out of Japan. Or someone with OCD haha BTW I cured the idle/shaking problem with new coils (2 of them). Still have a slight shake when stopping at lights but nothing that changes on t...

Re: o2 and MAF Sensors

for o2 sensors, they come in generic (you solder them yourself) or pre-wired flavours. plenty of places do them, not sure on specific one for altezza but have a good. maf sensor.. toyota or denso, both similarly priced new. pm Nick from the traders section of the forum, he will likely give you the b...

Re: is200 altezza brake pads

From Eurocarparts (UK parts supplier), under Altezza they list two front pads, of differing sizes: #1 - "For Automatic Transmission", £26.99 height: 63,8mm thickness: 17,1mm width: 141mm #2 - "1G-FE", £38.49 height: 62,4 thickness: 17 width: 141 seem to be different pads entirely...

Re: Low idle when warm - MAF and TB cleaned - TPS broken?

Did timing belt, aux belts, plugs, coil and new coolant. Got the car on the road yesterday, driven about 15 miles and running like a bag of dicks. Idle is 600/700 but really lumpy, exhaust sounds terrible, whole car sounds like a mix between a tractor and a dirty diesel. MAF and new coil on order to...

Long shot - these still available? If not, can you tell me where in USA you got them?

Not sure 100% if they are needed for all speakers, how did you get on?

Re: Need help with identifying OBD2 connections on 3SGE BEAMS

Not many people will have the wiring to hand. Also note that the Altezza's ECU isn't a "full" OBD2 implementation. It only reads some sensors and gives some diagnostic information (and requires a slight workaround using Torque and a customer initialisation string). http://i.imgur.com/gJ8Wg...

Anyone bought spoilers / panels from China?

Thinking of picking up some rear light covers and maybe a TRD-style or high-rise spoiler from China.

Anyone risked it and lived to tell the tale?
