ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

Re: Throttle position sensor

I know these can be a bugger and once you have touched them it can be a world of hurt to sort it! If all is well then I don't think you should ever have to touch them tbh. Maybe the ECU has self learnt and tried to solve it but getting mixed up because the TPS is in the wrong position (after you adj...

Re: Rear Brakes

Why do you want to get rid of the shoes for handbrake? It is a much better system having the brakes and handbrake separate rather than having the handbrake on the same caliper IMO! :)

Re: Getting at the sump and crankcase while on the car?

Cheers Tosha! :) Just for future reference for you guys, I can confirm that this can be done and it is way quicker and easier than taking the engine out! As above really, I removed the nuts holding the engine mounts onto the cross member then jacked the engine/gearbox up as high as it would go with ...

Re: Getting at the sump and crankcase while on the car?

Cheers Tosha :) That was my thinking too. Just trying to think of the best place to attach onto to hold the engine? When I lifted it out before I only had a limited few eyes and we ended up bolting them to the engine and using rope because I wasn't confident that using the chain wouldn't catch the h...

Re: cant seem to list photos help

You nee to host the photos elsewhere by uploading to photobucket or Imgur or similar and then use the link on that page to paste intothe gap between the IMG coes that come up. That will then display the photo :)

Re: What have you done today?

New ignition coil pack last week. Got jobs coming up this weekend hopefully as i need to remove and reseal the crankcase and sump after last years engine work and also find the cause of the dodgey camber angle on the front drivers wheel which is eating my tyres!

Re: New Daily: 02 Facelift Altezza

Glad you got her back insured and enjoying it :) Just to clarify MPG (as I have found it on mine anyway). M engine is standard and Im getting 34MPG max on a run and driving sensible, average of 28-30MPG in a nrormal week of back roads, commuting and a couple of big blasts on the straights to each jo...

Getting at the sump and crankcase while on the car?

After a little bit of advice about the sump and the crankcase section on the botoom of our engines please? As most of you will know, I had the engine out last year to have the crank reground and new bearing put in etc. Since the car has been back on the road, the sealant i used to reseal the full le...

Re: Ignition coils question

Yeah I saw a photo of these on the NZ forum the other week funnily enough!

I had a coil pack go on mine then but instead of paying over £120 on a Toyota one I bought a pattern part one from Auto Electrics Uk(through Ebay) for £39.99. fitted it in now time and all sorted with no issues so far :)
