Re: My First Build

Think I need to roll my arches.. and paint them!! http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b622/toshamov/IMAG0735_zpsibi5ucjz.jpg Exhaust was scrapping on leafs and I didn't want to raise the car any higher, it already looks too high :( so took off the exhaust to remake it and sit it further up. Some nic...

Re: Low RPM stutter in gear and air fuel ratio question

Ive got a wideband on mine and it will read about 13 on cold start then lean off as it warms up. Idle is off the scale lean, as is off throttle and during normal driving it is about 14.7-15. and full throttle its goes to 11 ish. It used to be at 15.6 but its richened up a bit (think I was having pum...

Re: Altezza Running Hot

oh really? wtf is the point in putting one in then lol I thought the light wheel would make it worse (which is why they use a dual mass in the first place) I guess not!

Re: Altezza Running Hot

Yea they do run mega hot, I cant touch my cam cover after a hard blast and when it rains the bonnet steams up as the exhaust boils the water on the outside of the bonnet! As long as your temp gauge isnt doing anything weird I wouldn't worry about it. The dual mass flywheel wont make it vibrate, it's...

Re: Power Steering Whine

I can't remember what a standard setup looks like now but I think that's the one. You couldcrack off a fitting on the rack itself, might struggle to catch the fluid if you take that hose off. I'll get a pic tomorrow if it's dry enough outside but it sounds more like your pump is on the way out. I had...

Re: Power Steering Whine

Re: Power Steering Whine

To drain just undo pull off the rubber hose on the return side and it Wil pour out. then you need to turn the wheel full lock left to right a few times until nothing else comes out .do it in the air it's much easier. Just be careful though cos quite alot will come out. I'm not sure about a cold flui...

Re: sr20 pump in altezzas

The sr20 mod is quite common I think. Can't find a proper write up or brackets though. I'm moving my pas pump down where the ac was and making an adapter plate and bracket. It's meant to be way stronger and much cheaper so worth doing. If I get it working I'll throw up a how to

os giken flywheel bolts and fitting

Bought a second hand os giken super single which I'm gonna fit after the overhaul kit arrives .on rhd japan it says you need Nissan flywheel bolts to fit the clutch, doesn't really make sense. I'm gonna get a new genuine pilot bearing (anyone know the part number? The clutch has one but want to fit ...

Re: pas pump bracket info

I've got too many things on my list to do it tbh. The pas relocation is one of those jobs I need to do but I've got so many other more important things to do I keep putting off.
Thanks matty that's exactly what I was after!

Tein coilover bits

First off, I don't know what moodel they are, I think they are HR but not sure. They are definitely the old spec. Also one damper is leaking and tein estimated £300 for repair which is just stupid and you would need both doing really. I'm happy to sell the coils all built up as a set but the plan is...
