Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

Welder around £500 locks instantly 2way +£2000 and takes longer to engage both wheels spinning Dont know where you are getting these prices from... I charge £90 to weld a diff if it's handed to me, price obviously goes up if you want me to remove & refit it. I use an Arc Welder, these welds wil...

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

Iv never understood exactly what is a welded diff.Like i understand the differential is welded but what exactly makes that so good! Because i might be wrong here but i had a friend who bought a sierra field car and he wanted to use it for messin at night on roads and its diff was welded and he was ...

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

To be honest welded diff is all u need! I used to drift mine standard it's fine but it will take you longer to learn, but to drift an altezza it's all about speed of entry not hand braking because it slows you down to much and you will run out of steam mid corner. The power is the biggest pain but ...

Looks good mate! I have a bonnet if your interested. In silver as well. I had it as a spare in case I seriously messed up my bonnet catches but I've done them successfully now. Lol Just read your pm.. I'm interested in the bonnet, what are the chances of it getting to Surrey without it getting mash...

Re: NinjaPower: Altezza Drift - BDC 2013 - 500hp 1JZ

U might want to put a breather in the custom remote shifter, Not sure the R154 needs it, they don't have one there as standard. I'll be fitting one sometime soon anyway, the box will come apart and I'll fit the uprated parts from driftmotion. Also going to fit an oil cooler for it too. That's a whi...

Re: NinjaPower: Altezza Drift - BDC 2013 - 500hp 1JZ

Today, I got the engine ready to come out.. I was rained off for a while so sat in the car talking interior out.. Just the gearbox & engine mounts and prop to unbolt then the engine will be out. Most of the interior is out too, couple of my mates gave me a hand removing that.. Just the dash boar...

Re: 3sge turbo conversion

There's a lot to be said for turbo'ing the Beams engine, but in my opinion it's not worth doing unless you at least fit forged pistons. I toy'd long and hard at the idea of turbo'ing my old Altezza, but in the end came to the conclusion it would have better to use a 3sgte from a celica than use a st...

Re: Engine from manual altezza fit into auto engine???

It will fit. But... It's not that simple.. There is a lot of differences between the auto and manual engines, there is reasons why the manual engine makes more power than the auto. I'm sure it'll be reasonable easy to fit the engine, your problem will be when it comes to pluging the loom in, some of...

Re: Touring Car BodyKit... Any info would help...

That's good to know, I'll check drift Ireland out.. Iv spoken to the last owner of the red one, he doesn't know anything about it or where it came from.

And a2pen, if I can, I'll buy the moulds and produce the kit for sale
