Re: exhausts

I had a lovely system on my old Altezza, had this fujitsibo Manifold and Down pipe, a TRD Centre section Sports Cat, and Kakimoto Back box.. Jeez I miss that car now... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/dale_b_gt/b561c457c29d64fb3a6f63c9340c6738.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/dale_b_g...

Re: Not sure what section, but how 2 break my car is the sub

Where you located? Is it IS200 or Altezza? Basically, I break quite a few cars.. Generally keep everything worth more than £10, unless it's a pain in the arse to remove. If its Altezza, keep the diff and driveshafts as they are a good upgrade for IS200.. Keep body panels if you have space.. Keep lig...

Re: Original British Touring Car project

Im itching to see this in real life.. Can see from that picture there is some nice caps around the tops of the turrets for the cage to mount to.. Is there any other strengthening in the engine bay? I'm wondering if it's worth seam welding chassis legs to bulkhead and sus turrets, etc.. The engine lo...

FS: IS200/Altezza Black Leather/Alcantara Interior- +More

Yo dudes.. Iv bought an IS200 and I'm stripping the Interior so most parts other than dash board are for sale. Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

This argument is pointless and should be drawn to a close..

Daveo, if you want to use your wand all the time, go for it.. But it's the wrong way to learn and you'll struggle to drift properly... One day, you'll understand.

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

No mate, hand brake won't help.. Believe me. If your using a handbrake in an Altezza your not doing it right and not really drifting, your just ars dragging and doing a bit of a power slide.
You need to be incredibly aggressive, flick and clutch kick.. Lots of clutch kicks.

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

I can count on one hand how many times I pull my wand in a general drift practice day. It's generally a last resort kinda thing. It's just to scrub speed while maintaining angle. Very very rarely would I pull the wand to initial. I'd have to have made a f*** up and pull it as a bail procedure..lol p...

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake & drifting!

you guys are talking a load of bull... Have you ever watched Drifters from Japan - road, track, professional, newbie??? Look at the in-car footage and tell me why they use the Hand-brake so often!!! Hand-brake is essential for any drifter! A hydro would make it easier and locks the wheels much fast...
