Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

No Mike, no mouse. Cleaned the intake very well  I literally thought that it was a belt or a roller squeaking, and come to think of it it started couple of weeks ago when all these problems began. Think the two can be linked. But the sound is definitely coming from injectors as you can hear the...

Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

Phew, got the car started and she was being pretty fussy and didnt want to idle for about a minute or two. After that it all normalised. Guess the ecu just had to lean the idle procedure all over again. On the other note i have noticed the injectors making a high pitched squeak noise. It sounds like...

Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

It just seems that for the past two weeks its been one step forward and two steps back for me. I try to sort one problem, and another one pops up. Was having a fiddle with the tps today to see what voltage output it was giving. In the process must have disconnected something that should not have bee...

Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

Just a little thought... can a dodgy throttle position sensor cause this problem?

Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

The idea of a dodgy maf has gone out of a window. I ordered a new maf from ebay which didnt even work (car didnt even start), then i headed down to a breakers a tried a maf that they had lying around. The symptoms were exactly the same with another maf, and it showed exactly the same voltage outputs...

Re: engine light comes on at 120km/h

i did clean the throttle body just before this cut off happened, because i had the same problem like u Peter the idling was rough and felt like engine would die in any minute off course together with some vibration from low rev. Damn, looks like you are having exactly the same problem as me. Does t...

Re: Injector duty very high, engine running too rich (3SGE+T

Yes i am running a greddy turbo kit around 7psi. Ive got a new oxygen sensor, but its a universal one. Planning on getting a genuine one soon as i dont think its putting out a correct voltage. Surely the oxygen sensor cant affect the fuel mixture by such a great amount. If i unplug the sensor, nothi...

Re: Which O2 sensor to buy?

Part number is 89465-53070 and i got quoted 286NZD from Nick. I fitted a universal sensor last week and i dont think it works very well. As tomo said, getting a non original part can not always solve the problem. Does anyone know how much they cost in UK and where would be the best place to get one?
