Gearbox oil filler bolt stripped - please help

Hey guys, I recently changed the clutch and was in the process of changing the oil when i came across the oil filler bolt. The head of the bolt was stripped and damaged pretty badly. So i couldnt get it off to put new oil in. Despite my attempts to get it off, it wasn't happening. :( Are there any o...

Also to answer your other question. It takes about 5 minutes to swap the injectors over.

Ive pulled out two different O2 sensors from a 3sge altezza from a breakers and tried them both. The voltage seems to either read around 0.85V or drops to 0 until you rev the engine. At this point im not really worried about the cat or things like that as it shouldnt really affect the cars performan...

:oops: Well thats the thing, the car didnt pass emissions... long way from passing it. 10% CO emissions and around 300 HC. Ive already tried a few lambda sensors and they dont seem to do their job that well. Guessing from the fact that its running so rich the lambda sensor doesnt even want to show t...

Havent been messing with the map trace on the power fc. Gonna check it out next weekend. This problem occurred suddenly, and besides its much warmer now and the car has worked in this temperature before. Im aware that bigger injectors make more noise, but surely the stock 340cc shouldnt be that loud :? But yea, only time will tell. Gonna check for boost leaks as the symptoms are there. But the car appears to reach normal boost so :? Will let you know how i get on

Ive got it booked in with a tuner end of march. But i dont want to get there and the tuner not being able to map it because of some problem. Will be a waste of time and money. But at least he will be able to pinpoint the problem i guess :lol:

Fitted some stock injectors i got during the week and the problem is still there :( So thats the injectors and the maf ticked off from the list of the things that could have been wrong. Im gonna go through all the intercooler piping joints tomorrow to check for leaks, and also through the exhaust fl...

Just ordered some denso 540cc injectors from the states. Paid about £220 for them. To be honest i had a hard time finding anyone that sells them in UK. Maybe i didnt look hard enough :lol:

Injectors rarely 'go wrong', but if you're suspicious of them it would be worth getting them flow tested before replacing them. Maybe they rarely go wrong on n/a cars for which they are designed for. But running 0.5bar boost with injectors working at max duty for extended periods of time might have...
