Re: power steering bleeding

Ok...let's start from the beginning... How did you know that the pump was going? Did the steering get hard? Was it leaking? Are you sure that it was the pump making the noise? My water pump started to go and I was thinking that it was the steering pump... I took a piece of pipe and listen through it...

Re: Croaking noise from Rear Suspension

I did a video last night so that you can hear the noise.

You will hear it at 0:11 and mostly from 0:38

The rattly sound you hear is the phone shaking in the trunk

Croaking noise from Rear Suspension

Gents, I did a search on the site and it was inconclusive. I have the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs on since January. The shocks were inspected when we took them off and they felt like new. None of them were damaged or had unusual play. I only now noticed a croaking noise from the rear. Sounds lik...

Re: power steering bleeding

One mistake is that after you fill the reservoir you should leave the engine off and still turn the steering left to right a couple of times with the wheels in the air...that gets most of the air out...then start the engine and do the same thing... Did you fill the pump before you installed it?... A...

Re: Brake Caliper Slide Pin Bush..........

I have this same blasted problem with my brakes.
I bought new bushings and fitted to the pin...but it just would not go into the bracket. It slides out of the groove in the pin and goes up along the pin and stretches...
Please tell me how you guys overcame this madness...

thanks...

That silvia is pure sexxxx.
It needs a spacer for the wheels at the front though...so that they sit flush with the kit like the rear...
The Tezza mental too... :D

Re: Broken wheel bolt.

So far you guys are talking in Latin with broken French as slang... Stay off the other 3 wheels. Take off the wheel again. Take off the caliper. Take off the brake disc/drum using a hammer and block of wood. Few solid taps and pull it off. Take a smaller diameter bolt or and knock out the brok...

Re: Knocking Noise Front Suspension

The kit usually comes with a grease. Anything from clutch spline grease or CV joint grease can work. Only use sparing amounts and be careful not to burst the boot when pushing the pin into the bracket. Turn it as you insert it in so that the air and excess grease can escape.
