I'll get one tomorrow when it's bright again. It's definitely not bog standard, as I have (parts of) the original in the shed, which is way smaller.. :)

I took a few photos of the exhaust. Can you tell if it a cat back system or no? http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/8642/dsc00321df3.th.jpg http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/3716/dsc00324uc2.th.jpg http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5305/dsc00325fk6.th.jpg http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/937/dsc0...

Tried all that, but failed again. I wouldn't want to go and waste money on a new probe (and another retest) if that's not what's wrong. I'll need to take it in somewhere that can verify the levels after doing whatever needs to be done.

Ehm, I dunno. How would I tell?

If a regular Toyota garage can't diagnose it, who can? Would McNamara's be able to?

I get the same sometimes, I've been told it's from the slip joint on the exhaust. I might replace the exhaust at some stage, but it's not annoying me that much yet.

I would have thought the Toyota garage should have been able to tell me this? They just said there was nothing they could do.

Emissions

Hi, The first round NCT failed due to high idle CO emissions. The Toyota garage told me that they cannot do anything about it and recommended going to McNamaras to get a second catalytic converter fitted. Just wondering has anyone else had to do this? I've a Fujitsubo exhaust, would this complicate ...

The JBL T595's I ordered arrived today. I ordered two, assuming that they were priced the same as round speakers, i.e. singly. But they actually come in pairs, so now I have four! oops!

Ok it might not be the timing belt cover, I was trying to figure it out from the is200 workshop manuals. I have a picture of it, must upload it. Whatever it is, the leak has stopped with a new bolt in!

After much poking and prodding I finally found the source of the leak. Some genius forgot to replace a bolt on what I think is the timing belt cover!! I say I think, since the workshop manuals I have aren't for the BEAMS engine. It didn't leak until you rev the engine, thus making it hard to track d...
