You can either take them apart yourself and spray the insides, order a set from the stealers, or order from Japan. Don't know of anywhere in this part of the world that makes them.

Usually takes between 1 - 2 hours.

Then you have a 2000 mile fine tune, which is free and is just a check and if need be a little adjustment after the car has settled.

There are 7 adjustments that can be done on the Altezza chassis. Measurements/changes are Toe, Camber, Caster, King pin, Inlud angle, Thrust angle, this is definatly worth doing after you have lowered your car or put bigger rims on. When I was living over there I was with Hibernian, they sent me on a one day driving course which would if you passed would reduce your premium. I ended up getting 70% knocked off because the examiner said I was one of the best he'd seen. I cheekily said thats because I was taught in the UK :wink:

I think the new GTi is back in the class of the MkI and MkII, after the rubbish they produced with the MkIII and MkIV.

They have done wonders with the 1.4l engine GT though and it is very nippy.
