ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

I think alot of altezzas do this. Its a little chirping noise that goes away when you press the pedal a little. Mine does it and its quiet annoying but I just turn up the radio

Maybe thats it. Mine might not be genuine. It just has TRD marked on it so tought it was genuine. I tought it would be strange for a genuine one to do it.

Not too bad would be best to have a lift to get under it. Risk of breaking bolts is the most worrying part. Tight space too

Just something for ye to think about. My car came with th TRD grill and the carbon fibre finish has flaked off half the grill. Looks cat so I had to get it sprayed and it still shows trough the paint. Should have rubbed it down to remove all the carbon fibre finish.
Just a tought

Probably easier to take it off but i'm sure you would get most of it. The standard manifold has a metal covering on it half way down so only able to wrap to there.

From reading about this stuff before it doesn't reduce the noise as such but it takes the noise from the manifold but makes it more noticeable down the system. So you will end up hearing the raspy noise in the midsection rather than the manifold.
Is very good for reducing heat under bonnet too

If its going to be made into an all tezzaworld meet maybe have it around the 3rd March for the year anniversary of the site and do something like another rolling road or go-karting. Gives plenty of time to organise it

There is some flexible pipes that join up the hard pipes of the system and they are only push on connections. They might be perished and close in when the pressure is on. When you got the pump changed did he change the fluid in the whole system cause there might be stuff in the lines like bits of me...
