Re: Engine Management light on, TRC OFF light flashing!

I often have this issue but have lived with it since it doesn't seeem to affect my car the same as in your vid. But I needed an MOT last week so thought I should get it sorted. I took it to a code reader place and they said this code was present: P1346 VVT (Variable Valve Timing) Sensor/Camshaft Pos...

Re: RS200 ECU wiring

Also here is a list of generic Toyota error codes which I found (unsure if this is the right place to put them but they will be searchable, I guess). B0100 Short In D Squib Circuit B0101 Open in Driver-Side Air Bag Module Squib Circuit B0102 Short in D Squib Circuit (to Ground) B0103 Short in D Squi...

Re: Remove 180k speed limiter

Unsure if this is any help but I run with an HKS SLD (you've probably read my install guide ) on the ECU and a kmh-mph converter behind the dash. The converter definitely does not remove the limiter. However I still haven't actually been above 118mph to see if the SLD works (don't live in Germany an...

Re: Changed gearbox oil, now can't get 5th

Phew, all back together now. It was actually easier to put it all back together than it was to take it apart. As for a DIY guide - don't do it yourself is my guide! Yeah, I think look on the fourm before doing anything is the moral! Although it wasn't actually me that undid the wrong bolt - it...

Re: Changed gearbox oil, now can't get 5th

Well we spent all day yesterday on it and the gearbox currently looks like this: http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv44/d3zz2h/Cars/Altezza/426A6EC8-D71B-4999-A6F4-B8DC19346436-7050-000006BA62242E0C.jpg The pdf's on this page were useful in actually removing the gearbox - http://z4.invisionfree.com...

Re: Changed gerabox oil, now can't get 5th

Ok in the cold light of morning I've reread the second thread and found this line: 'Will need to be opened up and put back in place im afraid'.

I guess I didn't want to read that yesterday so my brain ignored it!

Re: Changed gerabox oil, now can't get 5th

Apologies, I'm normally pretty good at searching before posting! Ok so its call the 'shift interlock plate bolt' and there are dire warnings about undoing it. Couldn't find a solution though, just posts saying never ever undo this bolt... Urm - too late! These are the threads I found - http:/...

Changed gearbox oil, now can't get 5th

...Possibly because I removed what I thought was the fill bolt but it turned out to be a long (about 2 inch) bolt instead!

Does anyone know if that could be the cause? It had an allen key head and is more towards the front of the car than the actual fill bolt (which I did eventually find).

Re: RS200 ECU wiring

I was searching for error codes last week and it took me ages to find them but here are what I think are the top links from this page: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~quibel/Info/ The top 3S-GE links are the docs you want (obviously!) :D Just noticed the above link is dead, so here are the files again:...

Re: Tezza supercharger

Hey Mike, Yes I did have one of these kits... Came with the car and within six months had broken (see here http://www.tezzaworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7637 ), however I'm sure yours will be fine :D I've had an ongoing saga since then with a blown engine and a different supercharger and inject...

Re: time for a supercharger?

Ive made the kit up myself, the charger is a V2 that i remeoved from my mates E46 M3 which was making 470whp. Im only going to run low boost (5 psi) untill i build a bottom end next year. Blimey, someone else making a kit! I had a Power Enterprise charger which blew last year, so got a Rotrex charg...
