having same problem failed last week so i put in new cat and cleaned intake, trottle body and maf sensor. and it failed again this mourning. any ideas

yea cleaned them both there spottless took trottle body completely apart even took sensors apart and cleaned them all.

nct fail !

well lads car failed nct on high rev emissions. so i but in a new cat, cleaned intake manifold and using petrol additive and it fail on same again. the lad in nct said the beams engine is always hard on emissions. any ideas? its starting to really piss me off now.

there is a apexi induction kit in her but the airflow meter is in it. ill clean it and the trottle body tomorrow and let ye know. cheers lads.

well lads. wen im drivin my car in 2nd gear at low revs like 2000rpm and but the booth down it stutterrs a bit then gos grand. thought it was a bit of a missfire cause plugs were old but i changed them today and still same. any ideas or anyone have same prob?

not guilty all the way man. a friend of mine in court two weeks ago said he was guilty . only got two penalty points from the judge but for going to court about it he got an extra 2 points and had to pay witness fees. ended up wit 4 points instead of 5. not wort it for 1 point . just say u didnt me...

tink i sorted it out. havent driven it yet tho. found a loom for a apexi neo wired into ecu leaving an open curcit. removed and rewired it just there, will take it for a spin after work and c how it go's.

checked the dash no wires out of place. cheers.
also do you know if there should be sensors in the exhaust manifold? there is a four branch in mine with no sensors.
