Re: Con Rod Bearings for 1GFE Engine

Hello and welcome.
When I did my friends one we got the con rod bearings from Lexus/Toyota, don't think they were silly money either. They couldn't do the small end bushes we had to get some made but you shouldn't need them.

Re: just bought my 1st alezza from the UK

Hello and welcome. Nice wheels, would like a set of those myself if I could afford them. Sizes sound pretty good to me, would probably go for 215 tyres myself but that's more personal preference. I got my altezza from Birmingham, was a good few years ago now tho. Keep us posted on it, sounds interes...

Re: Body kit fake lows :)

Yes it is low, about 2" lower than my TTE bumper, i was thinking about getting one myself but I'm on 17" wheels so it would be too low for my setup but it works nicely with 18" wheels. I'm guessing you would be getting a copy one? They are really badly fitting that's the only problem ...

Re: what is max wheel size

Depends what size tyres you plan on using, they'll fit with stretched tyres and you might have to give the arches a tug when you are rolling them.

Re: Radio reception problem

its hard enough to get reception in altezzas even with the aerial , id say you will have to get out the filler, unless you can wire up a new one.. This is very true my reception is awful. You can try and find an ariel that will stick on one of windows like a lot of modern cars have now. Basically j...

Re: 1 Cylinder misfire spark plug destroyed

So why do you say lpg gets hotter than petrol? Could it be that one cylinder was running too lean, in which case it could mean a faulty injector? Basically LPG being a gas has a different flash point to petrol and burns faster and hotter without having the same cooling properties either being a gas...
