Re: does the oil pressure sensor only feed to the cluster?

Hi I used an adaptor to split the oil feed - attaching the original sender unit for the stock gauge and then another to the new gauge. If you already have a gauge and it's an electrical one, you'll need the same sender for it. If you use a random sender then you might get odd readings, if any at all...

Re: does the oil pressure sensor only feed to the cluster?

I think it also sends a signal to the ecu. I just fitted an adaptor and run a gauge and the stock one

Re: help needed tezza wont start

It sounds possibly like an earth..run a separate one just to see if you can start. It may also be the immobiliser..but that is dark magic.
Doubtful to be the cps, but it is located at the bottom of the pulley wheel - you may need to remove the plastic shroud to get access.

Re: Trc & abs lights are on why??

It may be that the ABS/Traction ecu module has failed. It is easy to replace, but fiddly to reach - on RHD cars, driver's side under the dash, held on with 2 10mm bolts.

vertical bracket width is 97mm, hole centres at 12mm and 72mm making the centre to centre gap 59mm

Re: Oil Control Valve

There is a cone filter in the cam housing which could be blocked up if oil changes have been infrequent or worse! You'll need to take the cam caps off and the pulleys. Do them in sequence to avoid damage and make sure you're at tdc before you start. You could try an oil flush, but i wouldnt unless d...

Re: Windscreen replacement

Definitely interchangeable. The only difference the very early screens on the Tezza did not have the rear view mirror fixing - it was fixed to the roof, but its obvious!
