Is it ok to run without front wheel-arch liners?

One minor issue on mine is they are slightly chewed in each arch, in terms of the screw holes that secure them. If I vent the wings, won't I want them out anyway? I've seen a very neat job done with alloy panels and self-tappers, in sections around the wheel - if it sounds bad, it looked as good as ...

Re: Vented wings

I like everything about these, but the price! I wonder if I could source a good pair of steel ones, and cut/bend/mesh something similar? Given enough time, probably. I was looking at the new Lexus (looks like a scaled down Jag saloon) which has an arch-vent incorporated into the sill-trim on the bac...

Hi, I live down here on the South Coast of England, and have always loved 'interesting' cars, which have usually been RWD. I still have a handful of old Opels (none for sale, at the moment) and an Alfa-Romeo 75 TwinSpark, as well as a mark2 MR2 Rev5, which I snapped up at the end of March last year,...

Re: Exhaust VVTi - Is it worth it?

Hi, here's my two cents, which may or may not help - I only have two Toyotas, a '98 Rev5 MR2 n/a running the 178bhp I think it is, and my '99 Altezza semi-auto which has 200bhp - I would say that if the BEAMS engine in the Altezza is a VVTI version of what I have in the MR2, well you couldhafooled m...

Re: 77 Beams GT Celica

Hello from England, That's a little cracker! Kudos to you Sir. I always liked this shape, they were around in number back when I was at school. I have a couple in my 'garage' on GranTurismo5 (which I only indulge in at my cousins' house, or I'd get nothing else done in life). Can I ask what weight t...

Re: Martin Ffrench widebody altezza on speedhunters.com?

Hi from England. I know SOME about cars, tyres, suspension, etc., but not too much yet which is Altezza-specific. All I will say is that, to my eyes, folks do some really odd things where wheel & tyres are concerned. The Formula 1 guru Gordon Murray (designed the MacLaren F1 Roadcar) tells us th...

Re: Rake

Hi, I'm still very much a Rookie with the Altezza, but I've always monkeyed about with springs, dampers, bushes etc. (let's call it 'suspension, eh?) on my old Opel Mantas and Asconas, and found that having the front a tad higher, perhaps 15 to 25mm tended to lead to a more obedient front end which ...

Hi, do you still have this? How much for insured postage to Portsmouth, England please? And can you educate me, as to what 'bump' means in this instance?

 :?

Re: BTCC wide arch kit

"Phhwwooaarrhh!!" - The Oxford Illustrated Dictionary called, they want to use this photo as the new definition of "Horny". Honestly man, I've only had my first Altezza for two weeks, and you show me THIS? You raise the bar with this one, it's a peach.
