Re: dash lights

If I remember rightly, there are 3 fuse boxes in the Tezza. One in the engine bay (Won't be here as this is for ABS etc.) One in the passenger footwell on the left hand side - The reverse of the cover you pull off should tell you what fuse is what. I think there is also one in the drivers footwell s...

Re: ALTEZZA PROGRAMME

I think you'll find it very difficult to get hold of a diagnostic reader that is compatible with the Tezz. Although there is an ODB-II port, it wasn't compulsory for Aisan cars to have them at this time, and they use a different protocol to most cars therefore you need a specific type of reader that...

Re: Paypal have agreed to refund exhaust

Good news !!
I'm actually surprised that paypal would refund the money as technically it's not their fault/problem - but a good result for you nonetheless :P

Mine is only 5% out though, whereas yours appears to be 10% wrong, different sat nav perhaps ??

Have you tried following a friend at a certain speed and see if the pull away from you ??

Re: Speedometer problem

My speedo and my sat nav don't tell the same story either, I always thought it was just a delay on the satellite transmission.

Which are you more likely to trust ? A device that is connected to your wheels to measure your speed, or a wireless device that beams up to the sky to report your KPH ?? :?

FOR SALE - Track/tie rod + track rod end - £20

Hi all, I had one of my track rod and ends replaced, but the part I bought had two - should've got them both changed in retrospect but I'm not doing it now just for the sake of it. Item: N/S/F (don't think they can fit other side but may well do) track rod AND end to fit Altezza/IS200/IS300 Cost: £2...

Re: hid installation

I had the slimline ballasts for dip and full beam and didn't need to remove anything to fit these as they really are quite small, can't help with the bigger ones though, sorry.

Re: Heated mirrors

I had to replace my driver's side mirror with a lexus one a while back after a pr!ck in a Volvo knocked it off and drove off. The Lexus ones have a different connector and 2 extra wires (than my '98), so a little bit of investigation is required to figure out wich way to wire them up. You'll have 2 ...

Re: Front strut bar - dirt cheap !!

Looks like they've realised their mistake and changed the price - It was about £20 000.

They obviously got the decimal point in the wrong place !! :?

Re: Standard airbox induction kit mod

I just finished my first tank of petrol with the lid off (+ induction flap open always) and I have to say I'm happy with the results so far;- 1. Better power delivery 2. Better fuel economy over a full tank 3. Sounds nicer @ the warm air theory - Surely inductions kit pull in more hot air than I'm d...

Standard airbox induction kit mod

I was at home today and wondered what would happen if I take the top part off of the airbox (the bit you remove to clean or replace the panel filter). Only one way to find out I thought... Sounds amazing with the extra induction and seems more responsive too. Question is, will there be problems not ...
